The pursuit of happiness: a new ambition for our mental health

The pursuit of happiness: a new ambition for our mental health This is the final report of the CentreForum Mental Health Commission, chaired by Paul Burstow MP, which looked at the state of mental wellbeing in England. It calls for parity of funding for mental health which currently receives 13% of NHS spend in England but accounts for 23% of demand. It also identifies five key priorities for policy makers to improve the investment in mental health services; improve access to mental health services; and promote self-care, support and recovery in mental health.
