More than 300 Covid-19 victims died in Northamptonshire during April The tragic number of Northamptonshire's Covid-19 victims topped 300 in April.

Public Health England allow a five-day lag for reporting new deaths in NHS hospitals. So today is the first day they would not expect any more fatalities before May 1 to be added to the 302 already revealed. Northamptonshire Telegraph

Coronavirus: Black Britons face 'twice the risk' of death, says ONS Black men and women are nearly twice as likely to die with coronavirus as white people in England and Wales, according to the Office for National Statistics.

The analysis shows the inequality persists after taking into account age, where people live and some measures of deprivation and prior health.

People from Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani communities also had a significantly higher risk of dying.
