Supporting working carers: the benefits to families, business and the economy The Employers for Carers and Department of Health Task and Finish Group was set up in 2012 to explore ways in which carers can be supported to combine work and care. This report of findings and recommendations includes information on the current complexity of care and support services; and the part that assistive technologies such as telehealth and telecare have to play in enabling carers to combine work and care.
