Payment by Results for acute and mental health services – road test of the 2013-14 package: The Payment by Results (PbR) road test exercise provides an opportunity for the NHS to test out the new tariff, and supports the planning process. The focus of the road test is to gather comments on the draft 2013-14 acute and mental health PbR guidance documents and PbR code of conduct.

If you would like to submit feedback on the draft guidance documents or draft PbR code of conduct, please complete the relevant road test response proforma and return it no later than Friday 25 January 2013 to: PbRComms@dh.gsi.gov.uk
A letter from David Flory, NHS Deputy Chief Executive provides an update on the results of the sense check and formally launches the 2013-14 road test exercise.
The payment by results 2013-14 road test package includes draft payment by results guidance, draft payment by results code of conduct and the PbR 2013-14 tariff information spreadsheet.
The mental health PbR road test package includes draft 2013-14 guidance and other materials designed to assist organisations implement mental health PbR in 2013-14.  Department of Health
