Health visitor numbers increasing:
The Department of Health has confirmed that it is "on track" to fulfil its target of increasing the number of health visitors by another 4,200 by April 2015.The DH website said over 6,000 health visitors would be trained by 2015 and added: "Increasing health visitor numbers should allow local teams to improve public health outcomes and provide personalised care, giving health visitors more time to provide...
