Abstract:

The article discusses several factors needed to ensure successful change. Some pitfalls to change management include unrecognized costs, limited communication and minimal involvement. The seven core factors that support successful change are clarity, engagement, adequate resources, systems alignment, leadership, communication and tracking. Assessment of status and key issues as well as creating change readiness are deemed important in managing the change process.
