The state of the state 2021-22: towards a new public sector normal This is Deloitte and Reform's tenth annual report on government and public services. It blends a citizen survey (conducted by Ipsos MORI) with commentary built on interviews with fifty of the most senior figures in government and public services. These officials talked of organisational pressures, the impact of austerity and their concerns over funding for the future. This year's report also includes the views of business leaders on their experience of working alongside the public sector. Deloitte
