Managing adult malnutrition in the community: a spotlight on information, help and support available for patients and carers in England This report outlines the results of a survey looking into the growing issue of malnutrition. It found that there are currently more than three million people in the UK who are either malnourished or at risk of malnutrition. The report argues that substantial savings to the NHS could be made if malnutrition is prioritised, estimating that £13 billion is spent annually on treatment for malnutrition.
