Centre for Economic Research Report 'How Mental Health Loses Out in the NHS',

How mental health loses out in the NHS This report from the London School of Economics finds that mental illness accounts for 23% of the total burden of disease.  Yet, despite the existence of cost-effective treatments, it receives only 13% of NHS health expenditure.  Furthermore only a quarter of those suffering mental health problems are receiving any form of treatment.
