State of support: local Healthwatch funding 2017/18 This
report sets out the data on the amount of funding that local
Healthwatch organisations have received from local authorities. The analysis indicates that between 2016/17 and 2017/18, overall funding has fallen by 6.9 per cent. The report is accompanied by a letter to the Secretary of State for Health which highlights concerns around resourcing for patient involvement and advocacy.
